Welcome to our two new colleague Maxime Sossou and Scherif Sehou. They joined the Integrated & Sustainable Energy Systems (ISES) team as PhD researchers under the supervision of Prof. Sylvain Quoilin. The will be working on the optimal design and control of microgrids for rural electrification in Benin, and the productive uses of electricity.

Welcome to our new colleague Julien Jacquemin. Julien has joined the Integrated & Sustainable Energy Systems (ISES) team as a PhD researcher under the supervision of Prof. Sylvain Quoilin and Prof Hervé Jeanmart (UCLouvain). He will work on the modeling of Energy Communities and the impact of their large-scale deployment in the Belgian Energy System.

Welcome to our new colleague David Rojas. David has joined the Integrated & Sustainable Energy Systems (ISES) team as a PhD student. He will work on Energy Transition Fund research project UNLEASH.

David is also active on the topic of energy planning in Cuba, his home country.
